The Little League Challenger Division is celebrating 10 years in Ottawa. As you may know for the last 10 years at Library/Doug Frobel park, Ottawa's physically and mentally challenged youth have been gathering to play the great game of baseball. These games have been played through the months of May and June every Saturday morning since 1999. On June 7th, 2008 we will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the program. It will truly be a celebration. There will be media coverage, a BBQ and as many friends and family that we can squeeze into the park among many other things.
We are asking for your support to make this season and specifically this day a very special day. Please join us at Library Park on Saturday, June 7th, starting at 10:00 AM.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, Steve Suttie (Director Challenger Program), or Bruce Campbell (President of East Nepean Little League).
Yours in Baseball,
Mark DeLuca
